Mission Statement

Clergy Care Collective is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to championing those in, or preparing for, Christian ministry, especially focused on those struggling with mental illness or other disabilities, particularly the neurodivergent. We affirm the urgent and essential call by those in ordained Christian ministry to serve those living with mental health challenges and other disabilities. We recognize the vital importance of pastoral ministry and its transformative role in addressing mental health challenges. We are dedicated to supporting, advocating for, and championing, the holistic well-being and flourishing of clergy and seminarians, particularly those who have experienced mental health challenges and are committed to integrating care for the mentally ill into their ministries. We further aim to lessen stigma by encouraging current and future clergy to discuss their mental health challenges and how these have informed their respective ministries. More broadly, our mission is to champion those called to ministry in the name of our risen savior Jesus Christ. By providing resources, advocacy, and community, we empower pastors, priests, and seminarians to thrive personally and spiritually, so they can extend their life-transforming care to others with strength and grace.
